How do I enable 2FA (two-factor authentication)?

Go to Profile → Security → Multi-Factor Authentication→ SMS OR Authenticator.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of security to your account. When enabled, you'll need both your password and a verification code to log in.

To enable 2FA

  • Go to your Profile → Security

  • Toggle the two-factor authentication method you want

If SMS is selected:

  • You will receive an SMS including an OTP code to activate.

  • For the following logins, you will be required to enter an OTP code before your passcode.

If Authenticator selected:

  • Scan the QR code with an authenticator app: Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or Microsoft Authenticator

  • Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator to confirm

  • For the following logins, you will be required to enter an OTP code before your passcode.

Why should you enable 2FA?

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA, especially if you have active investments. It significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access; even if someone obtains your password, they can't log in without your phone.

Backup codes

When you enable 2FA, you'll receive a set of one-time backup codes. Save these in a secure location; they allow you to log in if you lose access to your authenticator device.
