How are valuations calculated?

SPV investments: quarterly mark-to-market based on latest funding round. Manual assets: you provide and update the value.

Valuations work differently depending on the asset type:

Deals & SPV investments

  • Valued in real-time based on the latest available data online

  • Using a variety of sources such as new funding rounds, 409A valuations, comparable transactions, audited financials and other publicly available data

  • Updated automatically in your portfolio

  • "Last updated" date shown on each investment

Manually added assets

  • You set the estimated value when you add the asset

  • You can update it anytime as market conditions change

  • Wealt doesn't automatically revalue manual assets; you're the best judge of what your property or collection is worth

Currency conversion

  • All asset values are converted to your preferred display currency using exchange rates from our backend. You can change your display currency in Settings β†’ Preferences.

  • Wealt supports 10+ currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, TRY, CHF, and more.

Your net worth is the sum of all asset valuations (both SPV investments and manual assets), converted to your preferred display currency.
