What if my KYC is rejected?

You'll receive an email explaining why. Resubmit corrected documents — there's no penalty or limit on resubmissions.

If your KYC verification was rejected, here's what to check:

Common rejection reasons

  • Document quality: Make sure your ID photo is well-lit, in focus, and shows all four corners. Avoid glare from flash.

  • Document validity: Your ID must not be expired.

  • Selfie match: Look directly at the camera in good lighting. Remove sunglasses, hats, or anything that obscures your face.

  • Name match: The name on your ID must match the name on your Wealt account.

  • Missing accreditation: If required, ensure you've submitted proof of accredited investor status.

How to resubmit?

  1. Go to your Profile → Verify Identity

  2. You'll see the rejection reason

  3. Upload corrected documents

  4. Submit again

There's no limit on resubmissions and no penalty for rejection. If you continue to have issues, contact our support team, and we'll help you through the process.
